The French, they love me...

...except when they don't.

So, because I'm an egotist to the nth degree, I have a Google alert on my name. And for some reason, I'm starting to get alerts on really old blog and forum posts. Like this one: Apparently, I'm one of the worst things to happen to fantasy in 2006-2008. :-)

Aw, I feel all special now. I'm even blushing.

I was working on the proof of one of my poems all the morning, and took out a comma. In the afternoon I put it back again.
~Oscar Wilde

I hear you, Oscar.

It's been a good week on the poetry front. I've recieved my contributer's copy of MindFlights' fourth print issue; had poems accepted by Polu Texni and Silver Blade; and written/revised two and a half poems, including one in Spanish.

I only wish I was kidding about that last.

This blog post may or may not be is a bad review of "Winterblood." My French is, shall we say, très horrible.

(Editor Scott Andrews has kindly provided a translation on the Beneath Ceaseless Skies forum. The last sentence in the review seems to say exactly what I was I was afraid it would say.)
